Orange County Chapter Board of Directors Elections Call for Nominations for 2025 Board

Hello OC AEP Members!

We're rapidly approaching the end of the year, which also means it is almost time for our Board of Directors elections. Nominations for board positions will be accepted starting today through November 8, 2024. Elected officers are responsible for promoting the Orange County Chapter, encouraging participation and membership, advocating discussion of environmental issues, and advancing professionalism within the environmental field. Please review requirements and instructions below for nominations.

Requirements for Nominations

• Any candidate nominated must be a full OC AEP member in good standing.
• Any officer elected must maintain their membership with AEP throughout the duration of their term.
• Elected officers will attend monthly OC AEP Chapter Board Meetings.
• Elected officers will preside over their office in a manner consistent with the OC AEP Bylaws.

All elected officers will assume their duties on the Board of Directors on January 1, 2025 for a one-year term with the exception of the Chapter Director, who serves a two-year term.

How to Make a Nomination

For nominations, please send an email to Meaghan Truman at ocaep1@gmail.com with (1) your name, (2) interested position, and (3) a brief statement of qualifications (no greater than 300 words).

Voting will take place via online ballots by the OC AEP general membership in November.
